Now fully immersed in the music recording and production world since his entry in 2019, NJ has collaborated with Usain Bolt to deliver their first album, ‘Country Yutes’. Released Sept. 2, 2021, the 14-track ‘Country Yutes’ album serves as a beautiful, seamless convergence of genres, sounds, and vibes native to his world view of influences.
After years of friendship with the fastest man in the world, and a career that saw him expertly managing his affairs as executive manager, Jamaican, Nugent 'NJ' Walker pulled on his musical talents, contributing to many successful releases by the duo & team.
At the turn of 2019 the Bolt team turned their sights on music production. NJ, no stranger to the art, adapted and drew for his earlier studies in music and literature to contribute to the team’s successful productions. July 2019 NJ made his debut as a music producer working alongside Bolt and team to produce Olympe Rosé Riddim. By November, 2nd hit project, 'Immortal Riddim' dropped.
Two golden productions now under his belt, 2020 saw NJ teaming up with Bolt to make his lyrical debut with 'I Need Your Love'. A single that tested the waters and showcased his writing skills.
At the turn of 2021, NJ & Bolt gifted ‘Living The Dream’, a song intended to motivate and remind listeners to keep at their dreams. The year also saw the release of ‘I Need Your Love’ (feat. Jae Xo), ‘Say Less’, ‘Timeless’ off 3rd compilation, Clockwork Riddim, followed up by summer sweetener ‘It’s A Party’.
