Founded in 2011 by hip-hop enthusiast Adam John Grandmaison, No Jumper began as a blog that published reviews on albums from emerging underground rap artists. In 2015 the blog transitioned into a video/podcast series, growing to become one of the most visible flagships of underground hip-hop culture and marked by Grandmaison's (also known as Adam22) knack for breaking up-and-coming artists with captivating interviews. In 2018, Adam22 announced he was taking the No Jumper brand even further, branching out from the podcast to start a label in partnership with Atlantic Records. The label began with the release of singles that featured up-and-coming artists, starting in June of 2018 with "Hard" featuring Tay-K and BlocBoy JB and following a few months later with "Rivals" featuring KILLY and Smooky Margielaa. Both singles found their featured artists delivering high-energy verses over dark and rugged beats. ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
