Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, USA Nomadic Culture is a music project that is not defined by any particular genre. We believe it is our vision that sets us apart from other artists. We enjoy writing eclectic, thought-provoking, lyrically-conscious music, and love growing as individuals as well as a band. Nomadic Culture is known for bringing energy, truth, & passion through our music on-stage at every performance.
Nomadic Culture started out of passion & love for music. It was an idea brought by founding members Dustin Massingill & Mark Mendel. They’re no strangers to the East Coast US Reggae Music Scene as they have toured & performed at music festivals such as Reggae Rise Up, Frozen Harbor Fest, Irie Vibes Music Festival, Camp Reggae, & Reggae at Smooth Rapids. Massingill & Mendel have shared the stage with artists including Fortunate Youth, Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Steel Pulse, The Expanders, Iya Terra, The Wailers, The Skints, The Green, TreeHouse!, & many more.
In the words of Dustin Massingill, primary composer & lead guitarist, “We wanted to continue writing, performing, and sharing our music.
After creating their sound, Nomadic Culture knew they wanted to share a positive, yet conscious message with the world. They were searching for a frontman to grab the mic & speak truth to the people. After lining up an impromptu jam session with Brady Harter in 2017, what was brought to life that day continues to allow them to spread their sound & message to the world!
