Nordkväde was formed in late 2017 by Marcus and Olle with an intention to create black metal with an old-school, Nordic and rock n roll touch. "Demo Ett" was released digitally and on a limited edition cassette (which sold out fast!) during the second half of 2018. In the beginning of 2019 Fallen Temple re-released it on a 7" gatefold vinyl.
The debut full length album "Visdom & Makt" was released in September 2019 by Naturmacht Productions.
At the end of 2021 a stand alone single called "Förslavad" was released.
In mid 2022 Fred joined as a permanent drummer.
