Norm Pratt

It's not a simple thing to describe exactly what Norm's music sounds like. Drawing on a diverse musical background you can hear remnants of familiar voices, yet the originality of Norm's music stands alone. One element that you can distinguish clearly is Norm's music come from the heart. Born in Michigan, yet raised in the deserts of Arizona, Norm's musical journey has led him to many places, both figuratively and musically.

In 1995 Norm released his first solo record, Watermark. In 2002, Norm and longtime friend Mark Naylor, started Perfect Circle Records, a label whose mission is to spotlight the wealth of songwriting talent in Arizona. 2 Hours From Anywhere: A Compilation of Arizona Songwriters, the labels first release was followed by Norm's second solo record, Color Blind.

For over 15 years Norm performed with Arizona musical legend, Bob Meighan, who was inducted into the Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame in 2019. These days you can catch Norm playing solo or with longtime friend, Jon Rauhouse on pedal steel guitar.

Norm also continues to record and produce singer/songwriters in his studio, The Adobe, located in Cave Creek, AZ. His new solo record, The Inner Core, will be released in September 2023.
