NOSILA is the solo project of South Australian multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Simon Hatch.
Through music, NOSILA explores themes of life and the different phases of growing up.
For Simon, the development of the NOSILA project is an incredibly personal one. Created in memory of his sister, Simon uses impassioned lyricism and evocative arrangement. As NOSILA, he hopes to help and offer an avenue of comfort.
Having put the final touches on his debut EP, NOSILA will introduce two distinctive personalities on record - testament to the songwriter’s innate love for music as a craft. One side of the EP is gentle, predominantly built around plucked nylon-stringed classical guitar pop, layered with electronic production. The other side, more ragged; electrified rock music fleshed out with psychedelic flair.
