Stephen was raised in a musical family and, at the age of 15, he discovered the electric guitar, piano, and vocals which ignited a life-long passion for rock and pop styles. Inspired by everything from Abba to Van Halen to Ben Folds, Stephen loves to blend melodic hooks with a rhythmic punch.

Stephen describes himself as guided by his inner muse since his teens, “that part of us that helps bring forth our creative ideas - whether they be words, music, physical art, or any medium that allows us to express our creativity”.

During the Pandemic, Stephen found himself at home. But it just so happened that in his house, he was surrounded by piano, guitars, amplifiers, horns, drums, and a basement full of studio recording equipment. “Finding myself filled with so many mixed emotions due to, on the one hand, a crazy world, and on the other hand, inspiration from my family and those around me, I felt an urge to begin creating again.

An album was born, which he calls “Daydream”. He reached out to long-time friend Liam Davis, a multi-faceted producer, composer and performer with over 15 years of production experience and four GRAMMY nominations. Davis produced Daydream set for a June 2022 release.

For Stephen, music represents a universal language that allows all of us to connect and express.
