Marcel a.k.a. NPFT has been active as a music producer in the electronic scene since 2012 and has made a name for himself through his distinctive sound aesthetics and his skills as a producer. In 2014 he won the Riverside Studios Berlin Remix Contest organized by Pan-Pot and Martin Eyerer. His remix for Muddy Walls, which he produced under the alias Marcelo Wallace, was played by well-known artists such as Hot Since 82, Sonny Fodera, Markus Kavka, Dave Seaman and Nick Warren.
His sound, characterized by depth, melancholy and a good pinch of UK bass, has already thrilled partygoers in the clubs of Hamburg, Berlin, Bremen, Stuttgart, Cologne and Croatia. He was already known as a colorful dog on the Reeperbahn and played in legendary locations such as the Fundbureau or in Solomun's former club EGO. He also shared a studio space with the well-known Hamburg DJ duo Digitalism, where he also worked with artists such as Boris Dlugosch and Hey Today! came into contact.
Marcel has already released his driving and deep beats on renowned labels such as Run Deep Records, Ton Liebt Klang, 136 Grad Records, Audiolith and Tach&Nacht. His track "Distraction" was played on Paul Van Dyk's legendary radio show "VONYC Sessions". Furthermore, his productions were played on Tomorrowland Radio. Additionally, he received playlist support from Tiestos Musical Freedom and Toolroom Records.
