Whatever the artistic project, Nicolas Petitfrère's approach to sound manipulation is characterized by radical and high-def production. A pristine and experimental spirit defying all categorization. Previously member of different groups and collectives, it was under the hat of Nömak that he carried out his last solo experiments. His recent project, Ö, is the most personal and ambitious he has led to date, using the human voice and the body as a vessel to transcendent electronic music. His next two opuses will be released on the label PC Music and he is also increasingly found behind the productions of high-profile pop artists, including Charli XCX, Tommy Cash, Jónsi, Hyd or Christine and the Queens to name a few.
