Obba, Robert Blomgren, is a singer and guitarist of the band <a href="spotify:artist:6YyA5ux5SvDHlCS5b7kAg4" data-name="Randells">Randells</a>
His musical journey began in the late 80’s using an Amiga 500 to create instrumental electric pop songs. Inspired by bands like The Cure &amp; Depeche Mode he later got into the genre of punk. In the early 90’s he joined his first punk rock band. After just 2 gigs all the members left the band leaving Obba and Jonte on their own. They bought a drum machine and started the band The Idiots.
Some years later, Jonas joined the band. In 1994, changing name to Annie, they recorded their first demo. In 1997 Obba, Jonte, Jonas and Sköld started a band and called it Riff Randells. The band paved the way for what later became <a href="spotify:artist:6YyA5ux5SvDHlCS5b7kAg4" data-name="Randells">Randells</a>
In 2006 Jonas tragically passed away. After his passing Obba started a new band called My Name Is Jonas . MNiJ (Obba, Grön, Danne, Sköld) released two albums, Freakshow &amp; Pray the gay away.

In 2014 Danny &amp; Obba met. He told Obba that he really liked the old demos of Annie &amp; Riff Randells. They decided to re-recorded some of the old songs and in 2015 they released <a href="spotify:artist:6YyA5ux5SvDHlCS5b7kAg4" data-name="Randells">Randells</a> debut album, At the Beach. In 2020 Raz joined the band and they began working on their second album Kicks, which was released in 2021. In 2023 Mike joined the band and in Oct.25, 2024 they released their third album Peel, Eat, Repeat. During the recording of Kicks Obba got to know Perry Leenhouts. Obba and Perry continued their collaboration and in 2024 they finished what will be the first single by OBBA.
