The Hurricanes started in 2012 when Gibram (Bass/Harmonica), Roach (Vox/Guitar) and Alex (Percussion) met through their mutual appreciation of obscure Blues, RnB/Soul, Rock 'N' Roll and past family history.
Soon after they played a battle of the bands event and won. It was that day the Hurricanes earned the name. Their sound came storming down like heavy rain to listeners.
Quickly the name got around for their Wild Performances and Loud Stomping Beat that wasn't being done in their small town, Santa Ana, CA.
Shortly after they were signed to an LA label, Wild Records. Although that didn't work out because of some differences between the band and label, Hurricanes moved forward on their own to build and pursue their own growth.
Hurricanes are still performing stronger than ever and releasing new material. Recording with Jazz Cat Studios.
