Ocean Grove are the enigma of the heavy music world, blending elements of nu metal, hardcore and alternative rock to craft a sound that is uniquely their own: Oddworld Music. An eclectic trio of misfits spawning from Melbourne, Australia, Ocean Grove are newly signed to SharpTone Records (US) and have risen to prominence in recent years with their dynamic and genre-defying approach to music. Wearing their DIY work ethic on their sleeve, the band have self-produced every release of music to date, including their 2024 studio album ‘ODDWORLD’ out now.
Consisting of vocalist Dale Tanner, bassist/vocalist Twiggy Hunter, and drummer/producer Sam Bassal, they draw from influences that span Korn and Faith No More, to N.E.R.D and The Prodigy. Ocean Grove are hellbent on self-reinvention, with each new release defying expectations and solidifying their position as one of the most innovative and compelling bands of their generation.
