Ocean Summit is a four-piece post-hardcore band hailing from the vibrant music scene of Metro Manila. The band is composed of Joseph Charles Baltazar on vocals, Topher Oliva on guitars, Joshua Darisan on bass, and Renzo Triguero on drums.
Formed in 2018, the band started out as an instrumental ensemble that attempted to combine post-rock sensibilities and the raw energy of hardcore music. With his wide-range of vocal abilities, Baltz's inclusion in the band roster in 2019 injected a fresh wave of creativity and energy into the group's sound. In 2024, the band further solidified their music by taking in Joshua as their bassist.
Ocean Summit takes inspiration from diverse human conditions, frequently challenging injustices through their poignant lyrics.
