For Odd Numbers, music is a way to connect, tell stories, and explore ideas beyond the surface. Known for his genre-blurring mix of Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, and Jazz, the Cavan native has carved out a distinct space in Ireland’s music scene. Inspired by artists like Masego, Mac Miller, Jungle, and Kenny Beats, his smooth, introspective soundscapes challenge conventions and position him as a key figure in Ireland’s music scene.
Emerging in 2020, Odd Numbers quickly gained recognition for his immersive productions and collaborative spirit. His commitment to fostering creativity led to the founding of Golden Éire Records in 2022, where he works closely with labelmates <a href="spotify:artist:0ZyGGlQfGnXKOUMdsb3biT" data-name="Flynn Johnson">Flynn Johnson</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6fYRV3qeqpfNv29wOThawF" data-name="Wallfella">Wallfella</a> to push the boundaries of Irish music.
The Colours EP, supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, is a pivotal project in his journey. Featuring collaborations with <a href="spotify:artist:7iAdwKP5E05H3WbebSeHkl" data-name="Graham">Graham</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0ZyGGlQfGnXKOUMdsb3biT" data-name="Flynn Johnson">Flynn Johnson</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6fYRV3qeqpfNv29wOThawF" data-name="Wallfella">Wallfella</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0IKMnBuBLJuHcrTejKmrtx" data-name="Fynch">Fynch</a>, the project spans jazz-hop, R&B, and Neo-Soul, and explores themes of identity and resilience. The final single, Rom-Com, due in early October, marks his return to creative roots with a reflective collaboration featuring <a href="spotify:artist:2xpN3bfOsPsnOCzDrxXXhr" data-name="DeCarteret">DeCarteret</a>.
