Created by multi-artist Team OFK, virtual band OFK is producer Jey Zhang, pianist Itsumi Saito, vocalist Luca Le Fae, audiovisual artist Carter Flores, and sound machine Debug. With songs written & produced by Luna Shadows and Thomas Powers of The Naked And Famous, and vocals by OFK lead Teddy Dief.
The Los Angeles-based indie pop group debuted their first single Follow/Unfollow onstage at The Game Awards in 2020. In August 2022 they premiered their interactive series We Are OFK - a video game biopic & playable E.P. - on Nintendo and PlayStation, in collaboration led by Teddy Dief with visual artists Nafisah Tung & Jenny Yu, developers Jarryd Huntley & Adriel Wallick, animator Taylor Reynolds, manager Mikayla Foote, composer Omniboi, sound designer Akash Thakkar, and screenwriter Claire Jia.
With the series they introduced the world to a virtual indie band - not stars, just artists trying to get by.
