Oh, Harry is also known as <a href="spotify:artist:25fLBSRrlR4QH0buhjEZYw" data-name="Harriet Ohlsson">Harriet Ohlsson</a>. She is co- founder and former lead singer of Swedish lounge metal band <a href="spotify:artist:4q6vUp7EZD4jAcBqjxfgYk" data-name="Hellsongs">Hellsongs</a>.
Harriet Ohlsson grew up in Gothenburg. In 1992 she tried her hand at the theater, learning oboe, flute, double bass and her main instrument, the saxophone.
For several years she toured Sweden with the klezmer band <a href="spotify:artist:0bBuJ4NmdRyiNLeC5BhXZF" data-name="Chutzpah">Chutzpah</a>. She played in various bands and finally began studying music at the Music Academy in Gothenburg, with a focus on Balkan music. While studying, she discovered her passion for singing.
In 2004 she founded the band <a href="spotify:artist:4q6vUp7EZD4jAcBqjxfgYk" data-name="Hellsongs">Hellsongs</a> with Johan Bringhed and Kalle Karlsson, which plays jazz and pop covers of heavy metal songs. With <a href="spotify:artist:4q6vUp7EZD4jAcBqjxfgYk" data-name="Hellsongs">Hellsongs</a> she also toured in Germany. In spring 2005 she founded the quartet Harriet and the Harbringers as a side project. The group from Gothenburg mainly plays singer-songwriter pieces. After leaving <a href="spotify:artist:4q6vUp7EZD4jAcBqjxfgYk" data-name="Hellsongs">Hellsongs</a> in 2009, she started her own solo project, <a href="spotify:artist:6F1LcKTSslbyVO74pOR15q" data-name="Oh, Harry">Oh, Harry</a>. Her solo debut album <a href="spotify:album:4nz4kL0HrYlfhSSxatq6Z1" data-name="Arena Rock">Arena Rock</a> was released in August 2010. She wrote all the songs on this album, except for <a href="spotify:track:4Si47tdUneoRzti04P2LB9" data-name="Now That We Found Love">Now That We Found Love</a>, a cover by <a href="spotify:artist:38h03gA85YYPeDPd9ER9rT" data-name="The O'Jays">The O'Jays</a>. For <a href="spotify:album:4nz4kL0HrYlfhSSxatq6Z1" data-name="Arena Rock">Arena Rock</a> she played all the instruments (piano, synthesizer, accordion, harmonica, saxophone, percussion, some guitar and ukulele).
