With roots in the deep Scandinavian forests, OhHeyMy is a kaleidoscope of experiences and influences. The foundation of OhHeyMy’s creativity lies a strong sense of social responsibility, a wish to make the world a better place by bringing together notions of justice, spirituality and art. Before moving to in Britain to pursue her pop career OhHeyMy was part of a simmering emo/pop/hardcore scene in Sweden. She was obsessed with bands like Jimmy Eat World and Blink 182, a detail that that can be detected in her edgy, high energy pop that has been highly recognized by culture media all over the world (Line of Best Fit, NME, Clash, Pop Justice, Wonderland).
