Ohun Olorun

I am Margaret Oluwatoyin Adeniran, a Gospel Music Minister & Songwriter. It is my honor to introduce myself to you as “Ohun Olorun”, meaning “The Voice of God” in Yoruba.

I have been writing and composing songs for the glory of God for over a decade. I heard and penned down my first song in April 2010 and have over 1000 written till date.

The inspiration for the name Ohun Olorun is the fact that all the songs written were songs and melodies I received audibly in the Spirit
The journey has been filled with both challenges and triumphs, but one thing remains steadfast – the rhythm of God’s music in my life. Despite facing health issues for many years, God’s grace has sustained me and given me the gift of songwriting.

In 2020, during the global lockdown, I was given the opportunity to step into a music studio for the first time and record my debut album. With no prior musical training or background in my family, I am humbled and grateful to be a vessel through which God’s message is shared with the world.
