OK2BGAY was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2006, as a satirical commentary to the gay community. The tounge-in-cheek lyrics, the kitschy but catchy music, paired with over-the-top videos, spawned instant attention on it’s initial release, and the titletrack, “OK2BGAY”, went viral on Youtube in the early days of it’s existence, with more than 20 million views within the first couple of years.

However in 2010 the group split up, only to reform in 2021, with the ambition to write, and release more funny lgbtq+ material.
