Ian Hamlett grew up in a musical household always going to his grandfather's jam sessions in the basement of there Detroit home.
by the age of 18 he had already seen his brother launch his musical career and was determined to follow in his brother and grandfather's footsteps
in 1992 ian recorded his first song with friends called puff puff pass a sytrical weed song that would later become his anthem
in 1997 ian launched his first group called Detroit Crack Boys or DCB
the three people involved wrote songs about their lives in detroit and the surrounding areas with dark overtones and heavy bass beats.
3 albums later they would hang it up and dcb was finished for the foreseeable future.
in 2009 ian ment Smokey Poe fellow rapper and ispring artist they would go on to record poe's first album the "cruel tutelage of evil-e"
in 2011 ian poe and fellow flint resident scripture would reform dcb this time as Dirty Caucasian Bastard
the trio wrote and recorded many songs releasing 2 full length albums "Deadline"& "Born In Blood"
