Founded in 2019 by Alexander Czernik (drums) and Christian Krajewski (lead guitar, vocals) as a
studio project, an atmospheric sound began to take shape. The lineup was later completed by Oliver
Krajewski (bass) and Ersin Kara (guitar), and ideas turned into songs that were intended to be self
recorded at the end of 2019.
In the spring of 2020, demo songs "the Dark Wanderer" and "Call to Arms" were released via
YouTube. Plans for a first concert in November 2020 were thwarted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, the time was utilized to start recording the first EP in August 2020, set to be released both
physically and digitally on November 6, 2020.
Lyrically, Old Ruins, contrary to what the CD artwork might suggest, delves into the fantasy realm.
The lyrics are inspired by excerpts from the storyline of the video game series "Diablo." They
narrate the tragic tale of the Dark Wanderer and his journey through the ominous world of the video
game. The songs on the EP are all part of this concept, which is not yet complete.
In the Summer of 2022, we recorded our first Album „Always Heading East“, which almost
completes the first chapter of our concept. And in the fall of 2023 we released that album, via Doc
Gator Records.
In April of 2024 Alexander decided, for health reasons, to leave the Band and is replaced by Mike
Gelnar.
