My name is Olivia Hahn, I am a singer/songwriter born and raised in Victoria, BC, Canada. My background is Hungarian and Spanish with British roots. I am bilingual in English and French.
I lost my mother to cancer when I was 15. I have written three books about grief and loss, written in the voice of a teenager and finding my voice through loss. I have learned to express my feelings through dance, poetry, writing, and music.
After a lot of dedication and hard work, My first single, Lust Over Love, is now released, March 14 2025. I am currently working on more songs!
I love performing live - originals and covers.
In my songwriting, I take a vintage twist and make it modern, taking pop beats with strong story telling lyrics by blending different genres, like pop, blues, R&B and electronic.
It has been a dream of mine to write music and show and express my ideas on paper and on a screen and share it with the world. To create a place for people to relate to the emotion and the music. Music has memories and feelings attached to it.
I have done volunteer fundraising with BC Cancer Society, Hospice, Learning Through Loss, Women In Need, United Way, and been a keynote speaker at schools to share my journey through grief.
You are worth being loved
Love, Via
