The daughter of two writers, her love affair with words began at an early age. Inspired as much by Cormac McCarthy as Sheryl Crow, Rudeen writes observational and poignant lyrics, odes to the lonely that hangs just outside the halo of the headlights on a long drive home, the melancholy oil spill rainbow on an empty corner sidewalk, the ghost of a goodbye floating in the radio static, the heartache and beauty of moments lived, loved, and lost.
