Olle Linder plays bass, drums, guitar, mandola, and various types of percussion instruments. After graduating from the music program in high school in 1992, he has fully dedicated himself to a career as a professional musician. Over the years, he has played in a wide range of styles and with many different groups, including Bebo Valdés, Ale Möller, and Swedish pop singer Robyn.
His great fascination with groove led him to immerse himself in Latin music and rhythms. He has visited Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina multiple times to study and experience the local musical atmosphere. Olle has also composed music for, and participated in, dance and theatre performances in Stockholm.
In recent years, he has toured with a variety of artists, including Swedish pop singer Tomas Ledin (drums), Brazilian singer Simone Moreno (drums, percussion), Algerian singer Karima Nayt (bass, guitar, mandola), Anne Sofie von Otter (upright bass), the Ale Möller-Mats Öberg-Olle Linder trio (percussion/8-string guitar), Jul i Folkton (bass/percussion), and ODE.
In 2009, Olle released his debut album, Fullt av folk. In 2017, he began working on his next project, which focuses on releasing much of his own material that had not yet been heard by the public. This project, titled Kasta Loss, culminated in the release of a full-length album in 2019. During the pandemic, Olle began composing melancholic guitar music, born out of the longing to play with his friends. This has led to several recent releases.
