OMEWorld

OME means “two” in the Aztec language called Nahuatl.


Inspired by the myths and legends of the Aztec & Mexica civilization, OMEworld combines operatic, ethnic and ethereal voices, with unusual vocal harmonies, electronic sounds, Pre-Hispanic instruments and orchestral elements more commonly associated with film music.


Formed and founded by Mexican-American Paola Treviño and Mexican Rodrigo Garcia in 2007, OMEworld more than a duo, is a concept; a World, an experience.


Their love for history, stories, music and ancient civilizations, ignited the flame inside them to create a mystical world where past and present would come together allowing them to coexist in perfect harmony within the same space while at the same time bringing them closer to the legacy of their ancestors and their roots.


OME’s epic music celebrates the greatness of the Aztec civilization taken softly by the hand of powerful sounds, stories and enchanting melodies into the modern world. A fusion of old and new where history reinvents itself everyday.
