One Keem is a rising star in the modern dancehall scene, bringing a vibrant fusion of Jamaican inspired rhythms and local Ugandan flair to the global stage. As the nephew of Nubian Li, renowned singing partner of Ugandan music icon Bobi Wine, One Keem's musical journey began early, captivating audiences during his school years and gaining widespread popularity in high school and university. Deeply rooted in his cultural heritage, One Keem blends local languages with Patwa, infusing his new school dancehall style with infectious energy and authenticity. Drawing inspiration from Jamaican dancehall heavyweights like Popcaan, Alkaline, Teejay and Masicka, he also pays homage to the late AK47, brother of music legend Jose Chameleone as a key mentor and role model.
