Francesca Carli (soprano) and Enrico Giovagnoli (tenor) are Operapop, a duo that blends the language of pop music with the world of opera, combining powerful vocal performance with strong stage presence. Trained at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro, they reached a turning point in 2006 when Luciano Pavarotti chose them to perform classical pieces reinterpreted in a pop style.

Their breakthrough with the general public came in 2009 when they won the Rai 1 show I Raccomandati, performing a duet with Little Tony on “Torna a Surriento” (Surrender). Since then, the duo has appeared on major television programs and performed on international stages in Washington D.C., Libya, from Beijing to the Avalon Theatre at Niagara Falls, and at CasinoRama in Toronto, as well as in China, South America, the United States, and Russia.

As both writers and composers of their own music, Operapop released their debut single “Lascia che sia Amore,” which preceded the album Passione. After appearing as performers in the film Un uomo e una voce – a Beniamino Gigli and as protagonists and directors of the musical short film L’Immaginario, they released the 2023 single “È Natale,” which entered independent charts (14th place Top50 MRadio, 25th Independent chart, 35th Italian Independent chart) and was included by Spotify in the “Christmas Songs” playlist.

In 2025 they released the single “Acqua nel deserto,” which anticipates their upcoming album scheduled for 2026.
