Ruben Soriquez (aka Ruben Maria Soriquez) is a multitalented artist: singer, songwriter, musician, Film and TV Actor, Director, Producer. His new 12 songs album “Sin Preguntas Sin Mas” released in May 2026 in Spanish and Italian language is a sudden change from his 2023 solo debut. What remains is his stylish melodic touch and his predilection for singing in different languages. Ruben started his artistic career in Bologna, Italy, in the early 90’. Lead guitar and backing vocals of the Italian symphonic band Stranafonia (with which he released the album “Per Un Vecchio Pazzo” (For and Old Fool) in 1997), Ruben joined the power trio No Smoking in 1999 as lead vocalist and bassist. Ruben left Stranafonia in 2001 and released the album “Direzioni” in 2003.
In 2005 Ruben decided to devote himself full-time to acting and directing. His film efforts brought him to win several awards as actor and director and made him famous across South East Asia and Africa due to hit Netflix TV Shows.
He reactivated his music career in 2021 when he started collaborating with composer Franco Eco for his solo debut “Ruben Soriquez”.
