Opia is an indie electronic group consisting of Cole Citrenbaum (vocals/guitar), DJ Stanfill (vocals/keys), and <a href="spotify:artist:4FKvEg6IzqE4UrhADh5bga" data-name="Reske">Reske</a> (producer). The band formed after meeting at Yale University in 2016 and launching the viral hit <a href="spotify:album:4e5Cnt4BZbUhkn7OIsqeIp" data-name="Falling">Falling</a>. In July 2017, Opia released their debut EP <a href="spotify:album:6iVIxsgabBqxMaFadiCQYV" data-name="Faded">Faded</a>, which garnered support from Spotify New Music Friday, BBC Radio 1, TIME Magazine, and more. Later that year, the band completed full tours with <a href="spotify:artist:1xHQO9GJIW9OXHxGBISYc5" data-name="Marian Hill">Marian Hill</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0vqJkZ0RpLZixt3lTmD8vP" data-name="Whethan">Whethan</a>. Recently, Opia featured on <a href="spotify:user:odesza:playlist:6wf7OjL38XBl60m7cLIe6Z" data-name="Foreign Family Collective">Foreign Family Collective</a> artist <a href="spotify:artist:79ffq2PHS5TDmgnHhAyudW" data-name="Louis Futon">Louis Futon</a>'s <a href="spotify:album:4X1iniyR3pKj6AGmlYHwhL" data-name="Restless Sea">Restless Sea</a>, rising OWSLA artist <a href="spotify:artist:0Y0QSi6lz1bPik5Ffjr8sd" data-name="Ekali">Ekali</a>'s <a href="spotify:album:5em00dZSj3H8SZMSDVMCaB" data-name="Past Life (feat. Opia)">Past Life (feat. Opia)</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0vqJkZ0RpLZixt3lTmD8vP" data-name="Whethan">Whethan</a>'s <a href="spotify:track:2iUb7DLswcEXEmsdD878no" data-name="Aftertaste (feat. Opia)">Aftertaste (feat. Opia)</a>. The group are currently finishing writing and production for original music set for 2018.
