Oracle Saint Rigel is a musical project that merges contemporary psychedelia with experimental electronics, unconventional structures, and a retro-futuristic aesthetic rooted in sonic narratives and technical textures.
Their first EP, Sigma Scorpius, was a collaboration with Timmi Meskers (Garden Gate), a baroque pop project from New York inspired by the 1960s occult revival, horror soundtracks, and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. This release laid the foundation for a sound shaped by analog collage and hauntological sensibilities.
The new EP, “Solar Obscura [Prototype]” —a prelude to the full-length album Orb Nebular— marks a shift toward a more electronic language, with analog interference, fragmented structures, and a narrative of systemic failure. It also features a collaboration with Marie (Marycherry), a Berlin/Paris-based DJ and radio host known for her deep connection to 60s garage, psych, and Yé-yé.
After performing at Mexsynthco, Oracle Saint Rigel solidified its presence within Mexico’s experimental synthesizer scene, expanding a sonic universe where technical references, emotional disintegration, and sci-fi atmospheres converge.
