Original Jahsman

Julio Hernán Mena Vega, known as Jahsman or El Papi Moreno (born 04/20/1988), is a Chilean artist and producer of Dancehall, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, and Reggae. Hailing from Lo Prado, his career took off in 2010 with the EP "En Ascenso," produced by OcultoStudio, blending Rap and Dancehall with powerful lyrics.In 2012, alongside "Furioso Verso," he released "Sonido de Ghetto," an anthem portraying the harsh reality of the neighborhood. A significant milestone in 2015 was "La Clave" with "Centinela Spectro," an acidic mix of Hip Hop Reggae featuring a Latin rap legend.
2019 saw the release of "Quiero Meterle Flow," mastered at PremierStudios New York, and "Ríos Libres," a protest song advocating for the freedom of Chilean rivers.
The 2020s have been equally prolific. In 2020, he collaborated on the successful remix of "La Baika" with Keko Fontana, Wrillo, and Jas Marty. In 2021, he worked with SintezisMusic on the Afrobeat "MoreLove" and with BrodasBeats, Vladimir "Vladi Cachai" Muñoz, and DW on "Solo Quiero Tu Piel." Closing out 2021, he released "A Tu Manera" with SoufillProd and De Ele Ce.
In 2024, his Dubplate Dancehall "QRMTRLFLW" for Colombia gained popularity thanks to Dj FRIZZSTYLE.


Currently, El Papi Moreno is working on a new album with his producer DIEGOTHEPRODUCER from Oculto Studio.
