Northern Brazil DSBM band. Being one of the pioneers of the genre in their home state, the band was inspired by bands like <a href="spotify:artist:7wWVpKpMtvSX9mQapjtKAD" data-name="Nocturnal Depression">Nocturnal Depression</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1MVngxYrcAvKqx3os2rrRE" data-name="Lifelover">Lifelover</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7oBiHmzfoAYKAFU5uO65Jc" data-name="Psychonaut 4">Psychonaut 4</a>. ORTHEV brings the controversial themes of DSBM with a new approach, addressing them in a more indirect and symbolic manner, using references from classical literature and the fantasy literary genre. Musically, the band blends the genre with other styles within extreme metal, such as Doom Metal, Dungeon Synth and Ambient.
