Os and The Sexual Chocolates celebrate funk music. Starting as a trio in 2009 and doing shows in changing lineups with various musicians from the area, in 2013 they were joined by a new drummer, keyboarder, sax and trumpet players. With this new formation they created the sound they are playing today.
Os and The Sexual Chocolates are: Oskar Weber (guit, vox), Christian Sonderegger (tr), Gerd Veleba (sax), Andreas Tschofen (keys), Antonio Della Rossa (bass), Raphael Keuschnigg (drums).
Ever since their reforming they try to not only play, but to BE funk. Os: „This is just what Antonio and I had long been looking for during our time in Innsbruck: a couple of fresh and open-minded upcoming professionals that bring in a little bit of nowaday’s jazziness and playfulness, in other words, to provide us with some fancy new chords and lines that were not yet part of our musical vocabulary at that time, eh-heh-heh.“
