Direct honesty and expression can sometimes be refreshing. Especially if interwoven with a brand of bubbly Australian grunge and indie pop. Oscar the Wild quickly began drawing attention playing local festivals, to then sharing a stage with the likes of The Killers, Something for Kate, Bloc Party, Grinspoon and The Beth’s.
Formed from a school rock band, sisterhoods and friendships, their commitment to being part of communities through music is deep and necessary. As reflected in Oscar’s tracks, the journey to feel something (whilst having a bloody good time) is primary.
Embarking on their biggest year yet, with new music releases and shows in and away from their home in Kaurna/Adelaide, they’ll continue to bring high energy to any gig they play.
