Osiris Lights are a progressive/alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia. Their sound cannot be easily nailed to any one genre or influence. It consists of well-crafted melodies, searing riffs, atmospheric leads, and heavy breakdowns, all laid over a rock solid and groove laden rhythm section. The band liken their songwriting and arranging process to
creating “pop songs dressed up with prog rock/metal arrangements”. This is coupled with an explosive and infectious stage energy that creates an unforgettable sensory experience live.
Osiris Lights was birthed out of the end of a previous act, who previously won multiple Battle of the Bands competitions, and supported international acts D-A-D and Powerman5000 at their sold-out Perth shows. They also released their debut EP 'Conduit' in March 2023 produced by Matthew Templeman (Voyager, Birds of Tokyo, Sly Withers). The three singles (Cut the Cord, Every Last Day and Too Far Gone) from the record have garnered radio airplay across the country.
2024 has been spent redefining the direction of the band by self-recording and producing their upcoming concept EP "Triptych", which represents the beginning of Osiris Lights. The record is an artistic showcase of the different facets of song writing and performance that make up the heart of what the band is evolving into. The EP is being released progressively through 2024, with numerous support shows building up to a big release party at Amplifier Bar later in the year.
