Oskar Braves

Oskar Braves are five suavely dressed wizards that hail from Dunfermline, the ancient capital of Scotland and when not eating or sleeping, they brew outstandingly great and highly addictive alternate musical potions. Uniting in only 2016, they busted out a inconceivably huge cauldron and began to immediately add tangy new wave influences such as The Cure and New Order, a large wheelbarrow of soaring guitar reminiscent of Big Country was poured in and then, not content with this formula, began to loosely sprinkle in contemporary ingredients such as the War on Drugs and The National.
When not supporting peachy gems such as Catfish and The Bottlemen, Blossoms, Glasvegas, Embrace, The Skids and Prides to name a few in the wide spectrum in today’s musical scene, Oskar Braves also like to play festivals as well. 2019 saw them at ButeFest, Silverburn Festival and Outwith Festival...as well as a live session for BBC Radio Scotland! They also managed to bag themselves an award for Best Live Act at this years Dunfermline Community Champions Awards. They have also supported, Electric Six and Shaun Ryder and completed a mini tour of the UK.
