OTROS AIRES is an audiovisual Electrotango project (New Tango, Neotango, etc) created, produced, and directed by Argentine musician and architect Miguel Di Genova. The project was born between the ports of Barcelona and Buenos Aires in 2003.
With over 40 international tours and performances in more than 200 cities across Europe, North America, and South America, OTROS AIRES has played on some of the world's most prestigious stages and festivals, including Lincoln Center (NYC), Dublin National Concert Hall (Ireland), Bardentreffen Festival (Nuremberg), Amsterdam Roots Festival (Netherlands), Greensound Festival (Bucharest), Festival Mundial (Netherlands), Pirineos Sur Festival (Spain), La Mar de Músicas (Spain), among many others. The band has also been featured multiple editions of the Buenos Aires Tango Festival.
Collaborators: Diego Ramos (Piano), Martin Paladino, Pablo Potenzoni and Martin Bruhn (drums). Simone Marini, Simone Tolomeno and Marisa Mercade (Bandoneon) among others.
MILES COPELAND (former manager of Sting and The Police) invited Miguel Di Genova to the prestigious Songwriter’s Retreat at his Château Marouatte in France. There, he collaborated with world-renowned artists and songwriters such as Jon Bellion, Cathy Smith, Meghan Kabir, Klas Åhlund, Bob Wells, among others.
JOVANOTTI, the acclaimed Italian artist, partnered with OTROS AIRES to create a unique version of his song Montecristo. The live recording of this version was released through VEVO.
