Formed in late 2017, UK quartet, Overthrone bring tasty riffs, catchy choruses and crushing breakdowns to the table, creating their own blend of Metalcore, Deathcore and Hardcore that guarantees to deliver!
In 2018 the band released their debut LP, 'Evolve or Decay', which received praise from fans and industry-leaders alike, leading to the band sharing the stage with the likes of Perth Metalcore outfit 'Make Them Suffer' and Minneapolis Progressive Metalers 'After The Burial'.
2019 saw the release of follow-up singles, 'Omissions' and 'Floodlights'. The latter of which gained traction with fans overseas, particularly in the US. This was closely followed by the release of '(G) H O S T S', which featured Ben Ville of Invisions in early 2020.
Following the COVID-19 Pandemic, Overthrone saw a change in their line up, and they got to work with new vocalist, Luke Hill. Showcasing their evolved sound with the singles 'Bitter Reign' and 'Masochist', they soon followed up with the release of 'The Path Of Destruction', A 14 track album, which has accrued over 1.4 Million Streams on Spotify, alone, since its release.
The popularity of 'TPOD' has lead to the band appearing at prestigious UK Festivals, including Bloodstock Open Air, in 2023. The same year they announced their new drummer, Rowan Jack.
