After sharing a mutual background in classical piano while coincidentally attending the same high-school, the Dutch producer duo OXALIS decided to team up and get lost in the multi-coloured world of songwriting and electronic music production. Drawing vast influences from a variety of styles and acclaimed artists, ranging from Shallou and Petit Biscuit to Nujabes and J Dilla, OXALIS started releasing their own tracks in May 2019 with identifiable chill flavours and analog undertones that put the listener at ease. Their first commercial releases Haiku No. 1 and Float were well received, and have accumulated over a quarter-million streams across multiple platforms.
More recently, with fresh tracks that touch a variety of musical sub-genres, the Dutch producer duo has shifted their focus further towards the commercial side of electronic music production, with releases such as How Do You Feel and Afraid. With exciting new releases coming up, the slick and soothing precedent set by OXALIS shows no signs of slowing down.
