Özge Ürer

Özge Ürer is known for her prolific songwriting and performance in alternative styles, and is one of Turkey’s rare leading female artists in reggae and drum & bass.

With 3 solo albums, numerous singles, collaborations, and EPs, she has performed at festivals both nationally and internationally, and taken the stage at many of the country’s top venues.

As a multi-genre independent artist, she blends alternative pop, reggae, drum and bass, EDM, electro house, trip-hop, hip-hop, and bass music with Anatolian influences to create her distinctive sound.

She founded Turkey’s first and only improvisational reggae band, Good Vibes, and produced, wrote, and performed on her acclaimed EP Özgür Ol. She has released rare Turkish drum and bass tracks and made her mark with Turkey’s first Turkish-language Future Rave song in collaboration with NitroKIDD. Fans have called her a professional firestarter and queen of the Turkish reggae and DnB scene.

In 2025, she was spotlighted at Athens Music Week for her unique sound and boundary-pushing approach to genre fusion. She also embarked on a successful tour through southern Spain as the co-founder and lead of Sista Sound, Turkey’s first women-led music collective. Joined by fellow co-founder Aysu Çöğür, the two artists broke new ground for Turkish acts in the region with their powerful performances and genre-blending sets as MCs and selectors.
