Ozzie Lovin

It was in my mid-twenties that I realized the amazing power of music. As I personally watched the world around me crumble, I used music to escape a lot of what I was experiencing. I started writing and putting my words to beats I made, and could not believe how much it assisted the healing process. While falling in love with music, I realized I wanted to use it to do for others what it had done for me. I noticed the correlative pattern between what was being expressed in pop music and what was transpiring in the world. I tirelessly contemplated how I could help, and what I could make that would strike a chord with people. I decided to deliver the very simple, ageless message of love. In my music, I explore all sides and types of it, with the hope that it can somehow help myself and others make sense of it, and spread a little more of it, while shifting the trends in music to do more of the same. My aim is to give pop music a whole new feel and to bring forth the type of energy that was used in older music, deliver it with a mix of new and classic sounds, and steer people’s behavior in a more positive direction. I set out to create a very worldly, unique sound, and have taken influence from people/groups like Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Dave Matthews Band, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and Drake. I am self-taught, with some help from mentors in singing and music theory. I have worked 4 years to build my sound, and am finally ready to start sharing it with the world.
