As a songwriter and vocalist, Paa Kofi’s passion lies in telling stories. Born in Ghana and raised in Amsterdam, Paa Kofi has primarily worked behind the scenes writing songs for artists including Sabrina Stark and Sarah Jane.
He discovered his voice when he joined a friend to a studio session and the producer asked him to try his luck in the vocal booth. Since then he has released his first single ‘Once Upon Time' and performed on stage at major venues including Paradiso and Carré.
Paa Kofi takes inspiration from soul, jazz, blues, reggae and poetry, and effortlessly creates a warm and unique sound where his roots takes shape.
‘I See Fire' is the first single of a new project on INI Movement. The song was written after a bad breakup and outlines his gloomy views on love at the time.
