Pablo Murgier is a pianist and composer born in Argentina and based in Paris. Whether with his quartet or as a soloist, he has performed hundreds of concerts worldwide. He has played in prestigious venues such as the CCK in Buenos Aires, the Munich Philharmonic, the Gdańsk Philharmonic, the Nikkei Hall in Tokyo, as well as Salle Gaveau and the Philharmonie de Paris. In 2023, he performed with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and played Mozart's Concerto No. 23 with the Avallon Symphony Orchestra. His first symphony, titled Solastalgie, premiered in 2024. He collaborates with writer and director Alice Zeniter on musical readings.
With his group, he won the Best Orchestra award at the Tango Sin Fin Awards and was nominated for the Gardel Awards and Graffiti Awards. His rich and diverse discography is primarily focused on his own compositions. His latest album, Gare du Sud, reflects his evolution towards an aesthetic blending contemporary jazz and modern classical music.
