Originally hailing from Aberdeen but basing themselves between Edinburgh and
Glasgow, too, alternative pop-rock trio PAGES. are enjoying a growing presence in the thriving Scottish music scene. And they not only have the character and charisma, but the set of synth-peppered, guitar-driven tunes to prove it.

Heavy, distorted rock sounds navigated in a pop-style realm that the '80s would've been proud of? That's very much the band's blueprint. While a fusion of influences such as Royal Blood, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers have inspired them
collectively, what you get from the combination of frontman Matt Fraser's vocals, guitars and keys, Alistair McKinlay's guitars and Jack Lovie's drums is quite something.

The three-piece's DIY, no-barriers approach to recording both together and with their producer in the United States has allowed them to sharpen their skills and bank a neat body of work.

Although they have so much more to bring to the table, their CV to date has many standouts. We're talking a slot supporting The LaFontaines in 2018, when PAGES. first formed, plus further gigs opening for HYYTS, Voodoo Bandits and Dancing On Tables. They've even headlined The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen and put on their own four-show tour.

Scotland's emerging talent pool is well and truly bubbling, but if you're into your feel-good bops that merge elements of pop, rock and old-school vibes, then call off the search: PAGES. tick the boxes.
