Paid Pat

<a href="spotify:artist:6ZmJwD8qRCP3OFBD7qhF0X" data-name="Paid Pat">Paid Pat</a> was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Orange Mound to be exact. Pat, short for Patrick, was raised by his grandmother who had a huge impact on his life. As a young child, an illness brought him to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where he spent hours listening to <a href="spotify:artist:17lzZA2AlOHwCwFALHttmp" data-name="2 Chainz">2 Chainz</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:55Aa2cqylxrFIXC767Z865" data-name="Lil Wayne">Lil Wayne</a>. To this day, Pat continues to give back to St. Jude. In 2016, he became the first of his family to attend college when he enrolled in The University of Memphis. During his college career, Pat started performing around campus and doing a few shows in the city. Since he was known for always having cash, he decided to put “Paid” in front of Pat. That is where his stage name Paid Pat began. He knew that he wanted to focus on his music full time. He later met rapper <a href="spotify:artist:6f4XkbvYlXMH0QgVRzW0sM" data-name="Waka Flocka Flame">Waka Flocka Flame</a>, one night on Beale St. At the time, he was unaware that this would be a life changing moment for him. Paid Pat received a direct message from Waka after that encounter, and they instantly connected. Flocka soon became like a mentor/big brother to him. Since then, Pat has been preparing to hit the scene full force.

Just like any other emerging artist, Patrick has his personal favorite artists, such as <a href="spotify:artist:6AgTAQt8XS6jRWi4sX7w49" data-name="Polo G">Polo G</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1URnnhqYAYcrqrcwql10ft" data-name="21 Savage">21 Savage</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6Ha4aES39QiVjR0L2lwuwq" data-name="Yo Gotti">Yo Gotti</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:3HiuzBlSW7pGDXlSFMhO2g" data-name="Young Dolph">Young Dolph</a> to name a few. Pat has worked with other emerging artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:4weldYkJEu7VzU1lLUQPBF" data-name="Lil Migo">Lil Migo</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3vMbThcZsIGHUmGb5YtFoY" data-name="Dee Mula">Dee Mula</a>. Pat just released his first single of 2021 titled “TrapMixGod,” but won’t be stopping there. Fans can expect at least 3 more single releases before a full project.
