Proposant une fusion afro-funk entraînante et robuste puisant ses racines dans l’afrobeat politisé de Fela Kuti, la conscience groove du funk de Parliament, la soul passionnée de James Brown, la pop vitaminée de Bruno Mars et l’intensité rock de Jimi Hendrix, Papagroove a, depuis ses débuts en 2006, notamment foulé les planches de grands événements internationaux. Reconnu pour sa fougue sur scène, sa grande maîtrise de l’improvisation et sa présence explosive, le groupe revient avec Les sabliers, un nouveau maxi où il dévoile, avec retenue, sa capacité à se déposer et à embrasser l’éphémère.
