As a child, Par. mostly listened to Bollywood, Hip-Hop/Rap, and movie soundtracks. His musical inspirations definitely show in his production and lyrics. After a series of mixtapes, he's created a whole new catalogue of music that displays all facets of his musical creativity.

At the age of nine, his mother signed him up for piano lessons. Five years later, he composed his first piano piece; another year later, he produced his first beat. Soon after, he taught himself to rap and sing.

Par. takes inspiration from everywhere. Kanye West, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, R. D. Burman, A.R. Rahman, Mehdi Hassan, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Ludwig Goransson, Juan Luis Guerra 4.40, & Shakira have significant influence over him (either musically or by the sheer weight of their personality).

His writing has been heavily influenced by the stories of many presidents. John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Teddy Roosevelt, and Dwight Eisenhower are pretty much at the top of his list.
