Detroit native Paradime has been a force on the Detroit music scene well before it's emergence in to the world's limelight. From his first time touching the microphone as a teen-ager, Dime earned and secured his title as Detroit’s own “Microphone Bully.”
Always in the fabric of the city’s musical culture, his teeth were cut in the same open mics that birthed the talent of Eminem and Royce 5’9”, the legendary Proof was a friend and mentor and his circle of friends and peers looks like a Detroit Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Always in the studio with the likes of Apollo Brown, Marv Won and Guilty Simpson.
In 1999 Dime formed his own independent label, Beats at Will, and since then has released four full-length albums. His first solo album Paragraphs was referred to by the Detroit Free Press as a “Detroit Hip Hop Classic”, and it was named the top selling independent album in Detroit in '01 by the Detroit Music Retailers Collective. Paradime’s following records did nothing short of topping the first when it came to receiving critical acclaim. Dime won 13 Detroit Music Awards over a 8 year span and collected 3 Detroit Hip Hop Awards including “Best Solo Album” and “Best Live Performer.”
Dime also has accumulated numerous co-writing and production credits in multiple genres, and in the later years has become a sought after songwriter and producer.
Dime announced in 2023 his signing with Mello Music Group.
