Born Allah's hip-hop journey started at 14 when he earned his first writing credit for New Kids on the Block. As Lord Mustafa, he joined Movement EX, the first rap group signed to Columbia Records, releasing "Freedom Got a Shotgun" and leaving an early imprint on music.
He gained prominence on the World Famous Wake Up Show, supporting West Coast artists like Xzibit and Chino XL, and wrote the theme for its “11 o'clock battles.” His work with Ill Boogie Records produced underground hits like "Someone to Hate," "Laid in Full," and the battle record "Patience," showcasing his raw sound and lyrical skill.
Co-founding the Church of Hip Hop and Financial Prosperity with Tabernacle MCz, he fused music with community empowerment. Their classic track "West West" with Acey Alone highlighted West Coast hip-hop pride. Collaborations with Erule on "Classic" and solo projects like "No Hip Hop for Grown Men" and "Sicks" showcased his versatility, with anthems reflecting his connection to hip-hop's roots.
Born Allah remains a powerful voice in West Coast rap, creating thought-provoking music that honors the genre and inspires artists and fans alike.
