"paranoid void" is a three-piece instrumental band based in Osaka, Japan, whose music centers around math rock and post-rock.
The members are MEGURI (guitar), YU-KI (bass), and MIPOW (drums).
After the release of their full-length album "Literally Math" in 2017, they began attracting international attention and have since continued to tour across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Taiwan. In 2022, during their UK tour, they performed at the long-established music festival ArcTanGent.
In recent years, they have expanded their worldwide presence with performances in the UK, France, Taiwan, and China, including an appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival held in China in 2024.
In Japan, they performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '19. More recently, they have appeared at events such as Metamorphose '23 and SYNCHRONICITY, alongside hosting their own shows in Tokyo and Osaka.
